Expect a day rate of around £200–£300 plus materials, or a half-day rate of roughly £120–£170 for shorter lists, depending on the work and the area. Multi-job lists are far better value booked as a half-day or day than as individual call-outs. We confirm the rate and a realistic list for the time before booking.

Single jobs are usually charged on a half-day minimum, so the value is in grouping tasks: write down everything that needs doing and we will work through as much of the list as the time allows. For account landlords and agents we agree schedule-of-rates pricing and consolidated monthly invoicing.

We handle minor plumbing and general repairs, but notifiable electrical work and any Gas Safe task must be done by our certificated electricians and gas engineers — we will tell you honestly when a job crosses that line rather than bodging it. We can bring those trades in under the same booking so the work is still handled by one company.

We carry common fixings, sealants and consumables on the van, so most everyday jobs are completed on the spot. For specific items — a particular tap, lock or light fitting — we either ask you to supply them or pick them up first, so the booked time is spent working rather than driving to the merchant.
